Self Dumping Trash Bin - Boat Skip From 0.26 yards to 3.9 yards
Boat skips are used throughout the rest of the world and they are being adopted in North America because they are incredibly useful as well as durable. The crane operator can generally operate these by themselves without the assistance of a rigger getting involved. No more riggers climbing onto, or inside of a dumpster being exposed to falls and sharps. If the operator can land the bin in the dumpster, they can hoist down until the bale arm comes loose. At this point it will lower out of the locking mechanism. The crane operator then adjust the hook to being behind the locked position of the bale arm. When they hoist back up, the center of Gravity will pull the bale are back from the lock. The balance of the bin will rotate it causing the contents to fall out as if it were in a dump truck or wheelbarrow. Once the product is unloaded, the operator can either set the bin on the ground and reverse the process to relock the bale arm, or they can fly directly to it’s final location.
The capacity of these bins are commonly quite high. Rock, dirt and other materials can be loaded to import or export them on a job site. This strength leads to durability. Most of these items could survive 15 or more years of field work. Compare that to the common clamshell that might not last a full job before repairs are required when used for trash purposes.
Here's a video of how fast these work.
Shipping comes from Germany. We can get a solid competitive quote that will leave you at a cost far below what you would pay in the US for crane trash bins of these sizes. Logistics is just a part of what we do and we’ll be glad to take care of you.
