Concrete Buckets Ready to Go
We have a lot of concrete bucket options. You can put together over 500 concrete bucket options at Eichinger. This week we are releasing a retooling of a bucket called the Model 1091. It’s a low round concrete bucket. The US and Canadian market is used to using round buckets with a gate lever that is 90 degrees to the flow of the concrete. We had a bucket ready for the US market that did all of that called the 5013. It had a few design elements that were too close to another brand. So we pulled it and didn’t make any sudden moves. A couple of weeks ago the solution seemed obvious.
We need a bucket with a chute that is reversible and 90 degrees to the gate. and the loading height needs to be under 61 inches at a 2 yard capacity. The 1091 can fulfill all of those needs if we just disconnect the chute, and change the landing support positions.

The gate control on this bucket is on the left with the chute facing this way. If you turned the chute around, it would be on the right as you faced the chute.
We can also make the bottom supports out of 3 by 6 tubes so they can be moved with a telehandler forklift. This way you can prep and clean without the crane needing to stay with the bucket until it’s all done.
I think this makes it one of the most user friendly buckets on the market. But that’s not the end of the praise here. I can sell this bucket for $3000 as a two yard bucket. That’s with a chute. Look at the competitors. You’ll find that $7000 is the entry into buckets with the chutes being 700 to 1200 dollars as an option. I can easily ship these anywhere in North America. The average price for that is $2500. That’s a savings of $2700 or roughly a third of the cost.
Eichinger has been around 120 years and it dominates the European market. You get German quality in a modern factory. The buckets are ASME B30.20 rated and we load test at 300% instead of the required 125% under ASME. We also use a third party, TUV of Austria, to review the engineering and to perform the test.
